About the Client:

We are a fast-growing tech platform revolutionizing the equestrian industry by streamlining event management, similar to Airbnb, but purpose-built for equestrian sports. As we scale across the U.S. and beyond, we’re looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help us grow our user base through proactive outbound efforts and lead generation.

Role Responsibilities:

As our SDR, you’ll play a critical role in identifying and engaging prospective clients, booking demos, and supporting our sales funnel. You’ll work closely with our team to expand our reach and generate meaningful conversations with our target audience. Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead Research & Generation: Identify and source qualified leads through online platforms (e.g. Facebook groups, directories)
  • Outbound Outreach: Execute structured outreach campaigns through HubSpot, including email sequences and direct messaging
  • Cold Calling: Engage potential clients by phone—particularly older or less tech-savvy users—and articulate our value clearly
  • Demo Booking: Qualify leads and book product demonstrations for the sales team
  • CRM Management: Use HubSpot to track all prospect interactions, update records, and report on progress
  • Feedback Loop: Collaborate with the team to refine outreach strategies and improve messaging based on response data

Requirements:

  • Has at least 1–3 years of experience in Sales Development, business development, or in an outbound sales role
  • Proficiency with HubSpot CRM (email campaigns, contact management, pipeline tracking)
  • Strong English fluency with a neutral accent
  • Confident communicator with experience speaking to older or non-technical users
  • Experience in SaaS, marketplaces, or startups is a PLUS
  • Self-starter who is organized, detail-oriented, and goal-driven
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely with partial EST overlap
