Salary: $1500-$2000USD monthly

Overview:

We’re seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in financial reporting, tax compliance across multiple states, and a proactive approach to identifying discrepancies and trends. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review accounting reports, identifying outliers and trends
• Conduct financial statement analysis to support business decisions
• Reconcile accounts and investigate any discrepancies
• Manage and file sales taxes across four different U.S. states
• Research and apply state-specific tax regulations
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial records
• Understand and apply accounting principles, including debits, credits, and        T-accounts
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve financial processes and reporting
• Stay updated on relevant regulatory changes and their business impact

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of hands-on accounting experience
• Strong understanding of financial statements and general ledger reconciliation
• Experience managing multi-state sales tax filings
• Proficiency in identifying and resolving discrepancies
• Solid understanding of GAAP, debits, credits, and T-accounts
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and trend-identification skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage priorities
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero) is a plus
• Someone Techy
